Just looked at the newest-25 list. Really great to see George Crumb's "Black Angels" on the list, and especially in the CRI recording. I would never have predicted that. If you've never heard it, give it a listen.

I'll vouch for the Jazz at the Philharmonic 7/2/44 as well. I own this record and man it smokes! Nat King Cole, Illinois Jacquet, Les Paul and others jamming jazz and blues standards as well as Billie Holiday at a concert recital. The very first of the JATP concerts and the crowd is very into it, check it out!
